Juwairiyyah couldn't stop grinning. Yes, she now has Arfaat in her hands! The fool thought she was sincere. Lol, he's definitely going to pity himself. She thought. "Arfaat you're going to pay sweetheart, it's a promise!". She hits the wall.

Later around 9:12pm, Arfaat called Juwairiyyah. Deep inside he knew things weren't right with the way she nicely treated him but, he ought to go with her flow to see where she'd definitely be heading to.
"How are you doing, Lilynah?" His deep voice boomed through Juwairiyyah's ear as soon as she picked the call.
"Doing great Yaa Arfaat". She responded. "How are my siblings doing over there?".
"All good, how was school?".
"Tedious, how I wish I don't have to go to classes" She said laughing.
"You can't be serious, what course are you studying?".
"Geography". She replied.
"Wow, that's great lily. All the very best".
The two spent almost 30 minutes talking with eachother. Unknown to Juwairiyyah was her eavesdropping grandmother. The old woman stood astounded by the doorway. Could her granddaughter be in love? She wondered. As soon as she heard Juwairiyyah bidding the person she was talking to goodnight, she barged into the room.
"Yar jikalleta (Dearest Granddaughter), how are you doing this night?" She asked sitting closed to the astonished girl.
"Hmm, granny what do you want this time around? You don't call me that name unless you want to make my life a living hell".
The old woman laughed. "Who were you talking to on phone dear?". She asked.
"I knew it! You had something in mind when you called me that name. He's not important" Juwairiyyah replied absentmindedly.
"See this foolish girl, didn't I heard you saying he's nice few minutes ago?".
"Yes, and what's your own? Please just go back to your room I'm feeling sleepy."
"Why am I even bothering myself with silly stuffs like this? Who will even love a spoilt child like you?".
"Yes... yes, just leave please".
The old woman huffed and left the room, slamming the door behind her.

The relationship between Arfaat and Juwairiyyah kept getting stronger with each passing day. The latter had visited the former's family once and was crazily in love with each and everyone of them, especially Khadeejah the loquacious. While Arfaat on the other hand had become a constant visitor in Juwairiyyah's house, the fact that he worked in the family company made him to be even more closer to everyone. Juwairiyyah's grandmother liked the boy alot, simply because he was easy going. She'd sometimes ask him how they got along with Juwairiyyah that much. To her surprise, Arfaat always praise Juwairiyyah.
It was a Saturday evening, Arfaat and Juwairiyyah sat together in the living room having fun. One funny thing was that whenever Arfaat is around Juwairiyyah respects people a lot. Moments later, Arfaat told Juwairiyyah that he was having an appointment with Yousuf, hence he had to leave. Juwairiyyah wasn't happy with that but what could she do? She went out with him to see him off. As soon as he stopped a cab and was about hopping in, Juwairiyyah blurted out. "Yaa Arfaat, will you be less busy tomorrow? I want you to take me out".
"Ehm, I'm not really sure lily but will call you when I'm less busy. Do take care okay?"
"I will, you too please! And my regards to sister Fatymah, Khadeejah and Mama".
"Okey bye Lily". He hopped in and the taxi drove off.

The following day, while Juwairiyyah had already dressed and had told everyone in the house that Arfaat and her would be going for an outing, she drove out enroute to Sophie's house. Sophie was a divorcee, and her only true friend. "Today is the right day to teach Arfaat a lesson" Juwairiyyah said to herself as she drive. Forgetting her policy of not calling or receiving a call while driving, she dialed Arfaat's number and told him she would be travelling to Bajoga with her grandmother, so he shouldn't bother checking on her. "I will call you when we are back".
"Okay lily, regards to everyone at home. I'm really gonna miss you dear".
"I'll miss you more bro". Said Juwairiyyah while smiling evilly. Thus, she ended the call. You sure are gonna miss me baby, if only you know what I have in store for you. She thought.

"Tell me the plan please na" Sophie implored after listening to Juwairiyyah's story.
"I'll off my phone for the next three hours, then you will call my home and ask after me claiming you couldn't reach me today". Juwairiyyah gulped and continued. "After making them all worried for at least an hour, I'll go back home and you will..." She explained everything to her and, thus, smiled evilly. "You grab?".
"Wow, my girl you're really smart. I grab it dear, I grab it!" Sophie said as they both bursted into a scornful laughter.
"I am already pitying the poor man, next time he will surely think twice before slapping a woman!".
"Exactly girl, exactly!".
Minutes later, Juwairiyyah switched off her phone for the next planned hours while Sophie called her family asking for her whereabouts.
"But she said she's going outing with Arfaat. I believe that wherever they are the boy will take care of her" Alhaji Abbas said thoughtfully after trying Arfaat's number for the umpteenth time without him getting through. But how could Arfaat's phone be unreachable?

Juwairiyyah's cloth was scissored by Sophie as planned, thus a quantity of blood was poured on it for everything to look like a real incident. It was Sophie who bought the blood bag from a hospital kilometers away. Minutes later, Sophie drove Juwairiyyah back home just after placing a call to Arfaat claiming that Juwairiyyah had an accident. Juwairiyyah had changed the way she walked, hence like a real victim. Sophie helped her into their house. Both her parents and her grandmother were in the living room waiting for her return. On seeing their daughter been held by Sophie so disheveled, they stood astounded.
"Princess!" Her father exclaimed as he made his way towards her. "What happened to you? Did you got involved in an accident? What happened to her Sophie? Tell me!".
Sophie couldn't say a word to him, rather, started feigning crying. Juwairiyyah went down on her knees crying so hard too.
"Can't you all speak!?" Her father was already angry. He needed to know what happened.
"She was... ehm, please Juwairiyyah just tell them by yourself". Sophie sniffed, wiping the tears she successfully forced out of her eyes.
Juwairiyyah was still silent, now in her grandmother's embrace. Her both parents, however, stood astounded infront of her.
"Juwairiyyah please tell them". Sophie recapitulated.
"Yaa... Yaa Arfaat" Juwairiyyah stuttered.
"What happened to him? Did you two had an accident? What happened?" Her mother asked.
"He raped her." Sophie chimed in.
*7years later*I am a happy mother of two children. MUHAMMAD NASEER and RALIYA who we call maama. Naseer is 5yrs old while maama is three. Oh! Forgot to tell you all that naseer is stubborn type. Real stubborn i tell you. Arfaat now owns his own mechanic shop, a very big mechanic shop. Am proud of him. Junayd and Maria are also married, blessed with a kid, Mustapha. I can still remember the wedding day. How stupid of me to think things won't work between the two. Guess i was wrong. I graduated with a second class degree. Tried working but Arfaat said a big NO to that. Well, what more? Nothing. Am just a simple housewife. It was a bright monday morning. I bathed naseer and maama, dressed them up in their school uniform. Naseer is now in nursery three, maama in nursery one. "Chew slowly naseer" i warned."Okay mom" he answered, but was still chewing like a dog. "Will you feed me Mrs A
"And i love you more Tinkerbell" he said, as he enveloped me in a warm hug. I rest my head carefully on his broad chest, as i inhale the pef he used. O Allah! How sweet he is. I broke the hug slightly, tears still in my eyes and looked at him. He smiled. I mean the biggest and most beautiful smile I've ever seen. Yaa Rabbi! How lucky am i to have him. "Its been a long day Tinkerbell, go into the bathroom and take a shower, I'll be doing so. Uh..and don't forget to perform an ablution". He said slowly, as he bit my earlobe. My heart flip, and i could feel the pounding in his heart. I quickly untangled myself from the hug and walked straight to the bathroom, leaving Arfaat standing alone in the room, smiling to himself. He turned and left the room a few more minutes later.I showered for almost thirty minutes, allowing the hot water penetrate through my soul, massaging my aching back and shoulder then i washed up. I tied my fluffy pink towel an
I'll be using POVs now. Thank you.JUWAI'S POV *WEDDING DAY*I woke up that early morning feeling detached, a feeling like i don't belong to the world anymore, a feeling that i have no one else to call mine. What have i done?. I never in my life felt so dejected and weak, or never felt so vulnerable and hate until this early morning of my wedding day with yaa junyad. Well, my second marraige to be precise. I pulled the quilt over my face as the tears increased their speed, my heart was aching so much. I couldn't even breath properly. Ya Allah, i clutched the quilt so hard and sobbed so hard. And hard. Harder. Hard and hard, but no one came.I didn't realize i spent almost an hour crying until uwani came in with my breakfast. I could hear the ups and downs of my so called relatives, who all came in th
But what she saw after closing the door behind her shocked the hell out of her, deep inside, she was still grateful for choosing Junayd as her husband to be. "Yaa Junayd" she called slowly, after overcoming the shock of what she saw "yaa junayd are you okay? What's wrong with you?" She asked, as she walked over to where he was lying down. But as soon as she approached him, a heavy and polluted smell gave her a warm welcome. She quickly stood up, her eyes wide open in shock. What could this be? Is junayd a drunkard? Yaa Allah! No! This can't be."Yaa junayd, what is this smell? Don't tell me its what am thinking?" She asked, standing over him. Junayd turned slowly and looked at her, he's feverish, and at the same time feeling dizzy. "Angel..." He called, his voice almost inaudible "Am sorry, you made me do it, i just had to..." His speech ended as he begin to throw up without a stop. The room was filled with t
"Easy lily, go easy on yourself". Arfaat said, his heart beating fast. Junayd only gave her a sharp look, more like a warning. They both looked at her quickly, on of them with a surprised and shocked look, the other with a very happy and smiling face."Repeat what you just said lily". Arfaat said, his voice chocky."I said i choose Yaa Junayd to be my husband". She said, almost like whispering. Arfaat shook his head, shaking it hard, he didn't even have the courage to say a word as tears rolled down his cheeks."I can't loose you Juwai, Juwai you can't do this to me; don't do it please, you know how much i love you" he quickly took hold of hajiya azumi's hand, holding it tight "tell her hajiya, tell her she means the world to me, i love so very much. Feel my heart beat". He said, as he puts her hand at the center tip of his heart. Alhaji Abbas was also speechless, she should be happy about her choice, junayd is his
Juwai felt it deep inside her heart, something must be wrong with arfaat, he's not the giving up type, what if he's sick? O yaa Allah! No please. She made up her mind to call him that morning, hoping that is switched on not off, she dailed his digits again, but the answer is still thesame, number switched off. She let out a deep breath, her face looked worried and she was deep in thought, her mom, hajiya raliya had been standing behind her for almost 10mins. She knew very well that something is troubling her daughter, she looked worried and restless. What could be wrong with her? Could it be that she's not inlove with Junayd? That can't be, she chose Junayd herself."Angel" Hajiya Raliya called her slowly, tapping her on her shoulders... 'Something wrong?"Juwai blinked back into focus "I'm sorry mom, didn't notice your presence. Nothing that much." Juwai replied. Hajiya raliya sat beside her, taking her right hand into her palm
"Yaa Junayd". Juwai called from behind, he turned slightly and looked at her. "Your heart hurts?"He only nodded in response. "But why Yaa Junayd? It shouldn't hurt because I've made up my mind". She said slowly, looking at Junayd and then Hajiya Azumi...."I'll marry you, happy?"Junayd couldn't believe what he just heard, Juwai can't be serious. "Juwai, i need to talk to you". Hajiya Azumi said, as she stood up from the couch she was sitting beside Junayd. "Issues like this needs time and decision making, you can't just do things the way you want them.""I only want to talk to yaa junayd privately" she said, as she looked at hajiya azumi straight in the eyes. "Without you interfering, we need some time alone" She concluded. "But juw....""Say no more grandma, just go." Hajiya Azumi looked at her grandchildren, she can't help them, there is nothing she can do about it.
"Is that a yes?"Junayd asked smiling. Juwairiyyah was still silent, she sat still, tears rolling down her cheeks, her heart beats increased in pace, as if she ran for kilometers without stopping. She grew up with Junayd, shared a lot of things with him. Infact, she was already in love with him when he left, but now, she is nonplussed of her feelings towards him, more so; she's now a divorcée, will he still marry her that way?.My earliest memory has always been with yaa junayd, him bathing me, feeding, clothing and so on.She was so engrossed in her thoughts, when she felt yaa junayd's hand on mine,... I looked up at him, her eyes still moist from the tears she shed. "What is it?" He asked ca
"Yaa Junayd, I missed you so very much, hope you are back for good now?". Juwairiyyah asked still holding his hands. Junayd smiled, caressing Juwai's face. He can't express how happy he is to see her........"yes baby, am back"....he said, taking her hands to his lips and pressing a light kiss on them..."am not gonna leave you agaiin."Who the hell is this?, Arfaat is totallyspeechless, he stood there stunned, totally out of words. He turned and look at Alhaji Abbas, Hajiya Azumi and Hajiya Raliya who were smiling at them. "Welcome back son, or are you still not done looking at your sister ?". Asked Alhaji Abbas, standing up and opening his hands for a hug."O papy, I missed you so very much". He walked to his open arms, but then suddenly changed his direction and hugged Hajiya Raliya, who only sat on
