The music coming out of the disco hall was so loud that it shook the building to its foundation. Colorful laser lights beamed from every corner of the big hall. 

As i walked passed all the sweaty bodies, only about half of the people present threw me a glare. It made me feel both good and anxious. I hated attention. You never knew what went through the minds of people that stared at you, but then again, I didn't give a fuck. 

As the music boomed from the speakers, students screamed and danced or just had a red cup in their hand. It was definitely soft drinks since alcohol was prohibited. 

I scanned the room carefully looking for any familiar faces until I found Lisa and Anne dancing like crazy in the midst of other people. If I didn't know better, I'd think they were intoxicated.
