The Blood Shadow pack has had a busy year. From Dalton and Ella's marriage to Hera and Arlo's, and now it was the birthday of the pack's most treasured child—Lyra.
Each member was assigned a certain task. Some were assigned to cook food, the others with decorating the interior of the house, while others were just idle onlookers waiting for a task to be assigned to them. Dalton, on the other hand, was given the most important task of all—distracting Lyra while all the preparations were still coming through.
You might be wondering why the pack needs to distract an incoming five-year-old on her birthday party, but Lyra has become much smarter than they think—maybe even smarter than Dalton.
