Abigail’s POV

As I looked at the window, noticing the grass while I took a sip of my coffee, remembered what had happened last night “Maybe I shouldn’t have done that” I muttered.

“Shouldn’t have done what?” Mother asked as she strolled into the kitchen.

“Getting so angry at Aaron..I just didn’t think he’d come back, ever” i added, taking a cookie from the plate that laid on the counter.

“Why were you so angry at him by the way?” She inquired as she walked closer to me

I looked to her, took a cookie to my mouth “It’s not something I’ll have the time to say right now mom” I answered, putting the mug down and heading to my room to get ready for the day.

“You sure you’re okay?” She asked as I left the kitchen for my room.

“Yes mom” I said almost immediately, heading to get my outfit for the day.

Going to work meant looking out for Damien Forest, especially today, being the day of Damien’s appointment. I peeked at the window of my car while the driver drove slowly into the parking lot
