As the big bird touched down at the San Francisco airport, Ari's heart lurched. It was chilly, windy and so dark that evening. There were no stars, just dark clouds.

I missed you so much Sav and I am so sorry for what happened. I was framed that night. I just wanted to get drunk so I could sleep soundly. My mistake hon. I did not do anything to hurt you.
