Chapter 1

AYLA

My older sister Anjie whispered, "Call me if something happened okay?"

 

 

I nodded despite the fact that I knew she couldn't see me because we were speaking over the phone.

 

 

"Okay"

 

She said he had other business to attend to, so she said goodbye right away.

 

 

I collapsed onto my tiny bed and sobbed there.

 

I arrived here yesterday, but I'm sad because I miss my sister, even though I only saw her yesterday. Tomorrow is the entrance.

 

I'm afraid I won't be with my sister because she's the only relative I have left, but I have to learn to live on my own.

 

I was given a scholarship by this campus last week, and although I initially didn't want to go because I didn't want to leave sister Anjie, I was powerless to resist since I had to study.

 

 

I cried, and then I fell asleep. All I can hope for is that everything stays well while I'm living in this dorm.

 

I got ready early in the morning and showered before having dinner. I pouted and looked at my uniform.

 

It's adorable.

 

Before leaving the dorm, I checked my bag and belongings twice, but I stopped when I noticed a small piece of paper in my skirt pocket.

 

Good luck, my love. I'm sure  our parents are proud of you. Remember, it's only your first day, so be happy and keep fighting.

After reading it and grinning, I put the paper back in my pocket and carried on with my stroll.

 

I went to a coffee shop close to the campus before entering, and I waited in line with my face down.

 

I went straight to a table where nobody was seated after placing my order for an iced tea. Drinking, I couldn't stop staring down.

I feel like people are observing me and making disparaging remarks about me.

 

I heard the two women next to me whispering as I finished my iced tea.

 

 

"I know I heard Nelie say yesterday that she tried to have sex with professor Aiden but he only brought her to the office so she got kicked out"

 

"Girl I can't blame Nelie, Professor Aiden is way too hot to handle, ugh I'm willing to kiss his feet if he would ask me"

 

What I heard caused my cheek to flush. I'm not a child anymore to not to know about sex, but I frequently don't hear that

 

I left the coffee shop as soon as I finished my iced tea and began to walk back to our campus.

 

Everyone was busy when I arrived at the campus; some people were with friends, while others were by themselves.

 

 

The campus structure is big and composed of stone.

 

I was just checking my schedule and the lecture hall number today while I was strolling.

 

The number was 116.

 

I carefully opened the door after eventually finding the number 116 on it. It was silent, but I was expecting to hear a loud noise.

It wasn't until I took in my surroundings that I realized I had entered the incorrect room; it was filled with books, with a big table and chair in the center.

 

A low voice asked, "Did your parents not teach you how to knock?"

 

 

When I heard that voice, I was shocked. I tried to find the person who was speaking, but I was unable until I noticed the man who was lying down on the couch with a pillow over his face, appearing to be sleeping.

 

It wasn't until I noticed a table that I realized this was the teacher's office.

 

It states

 

Professor Aiden Solarez

 

I bowed down, even though he couldn't see me, out of embarrassment. "I a-apologize, sir.  I-I thought this was the number of our l-lecture hall" I can't stop stuttering

I'm very ashamed of what I did because I heard him get up but didn't even look up.

 

I stood there and stared at the ground.

 

 

I said i wanted a quiet first day, but I still did something awkwardly awkward.

 

He asked mockingly, his voice showing annoyance and anger, "Are you sure, the number of my office room is pretty obvious on my door so how come you mistook it as your lecture hall?"

 

My eyes began to blur.

 

Please dont cry

 

"Or maybe you came here on purpose so you can try to seduce and have sex with me is that right?" he said, his voice slowly raising

 

I flinch and shake my head embarrassed and hurt at his words, I looked up even though I was crying

 

"N-no sir I'm really sorry" I whispered and sobbed quietly

 

I saw how he was stunned after seeing my face
