Chapter 7

Derek’s pov.

I watched her leave the room, I kept my third eye fixed on her, I knew my sudden change of attitude would cause a spark of emotions for her.

She definitely would. Have started getting several explanations as to why I acted the way I did.

Truth was, the more I tried to act distant, I could feel my heart yearn for her even stronger. Whenever I looked into her face, I could feel my hands wanting to reach out for the edge of her hair pushing it behind her back, and pressing my lips immensely on hers.

I opened the plates, and was presented with a palatable sight, the omelet, potato hash, pancakes smothered in syrup, with a cup of coffee sitting just next to it.

. Everything looked perfect, and I wondered if Tania prepared it, or if she asked Emma.

The omelet tasted heavenly, and nothing like what Emma would cook, neither did the pancakes taste conventional like the one Emma would prepare.
