54. Repay

"Honey, aren't you awake yet?" Matilda opened the door to Cassandra's room. She felt suspicious because since her return one week ago, the girl had locked herself in her room, and her face looked gloomy.

Matilda thought she wouldn't bother Cassandra. She wanted to give the girl time to be alone so that her mind would be calmer. But more than a week later, the girl was still slumped in her sadness.
