After Luca ditched me, I took an Uber back to my dorm. I'm so confused as to why he left suddenly. Was something wrong?

I could tell something was up with the way his expression shifted when he got a text but I just can’t figure out what exactly and why he didn’t say anything.

I’ve been thinking about this for the past couple of hours and nothing seems to make sense. Not the sudden shift of energy and definitely not the fact that he left me at the beach alone by that hour of the day.

I changed to my usual nightie, laid on my bed while staring at my phone screen waiting for a text from Luca that will explain everything but nothing came. Two hours passed and still nothing.
