The next day, I woke up, sitting on my bed as I waited for a text, from the abductor. Although, it was I was not supposed to just sit and do nothing. Could I really trust the abductor? What if he had something up his sleeves, as well?

Then I heard a knock on my door.

“Go away. I don’t want to see your face, right now.” I said, feeling irritated by the fact that Stephanie was disturbing me in this situation, even if I didn’t let her know what had happened to Caramel.

“Uhm… Actually, it’s Nate.”

My eyes widened in surprise as he came in. I wasn’t expecting him, but he must have to check up on me.

“Hey, how is your wound?” He asked, out of concern.

“Good. Anyways, Miss Caramel’s agent was the reason I came here. He said he has been trying to reach her, but he hasn’t been able to get through, and I have also tried as well, but still the same result. Is she okay?” Nate asked, out of curiosity.
