Chapter {52} A Better Father

Derricks POV;

I get home feeling mentally exhausted. This is the worst I've felt in a long time. 

I walk into our living room and find it empty. However, I know my father is around cause his car is still parked in our compound. I head lazily up to my room and take a long, cool shower. I get into a simple pair of shorts and a vest before laying on my bed to nap. 

A few seconds into my sleep, a knock on my door interrupts me. Causing me to sit up In irritation. 

"May I come in? "My fathers voice questions and I silently throw my arms and legs in the air in annoyance. 

Why did he have to come now? Couldn't he wait two more hours? 

Why now when sleep has her seductive arms all over me?

"Come in! "I call in agitation and the door opens slowly. Revealing my father. Something about his appearance doesn't seem right.&n
