After school, we headed to the cafe shop, then sat in the same spot they did the last time I came here and avoided them.

I realized a lot of students came here to chill and do their assignments. They had their laptop, iPads, and notes out, discussing with each other.

“Hey Aurora, the usual,” Leo said

I glanced up to see it was the waitress who attended to me the last time I was here and her eyes flashed in recognition. She had such a beautiful name.

“I’m so glad you sorted out your issues with your friends, no need sneaking out the back through the workers' exit,” she chuckled.

Oh god! Must she say that, in front of them?!! “Thanks for saying that,” I said sarcastically.

Her eyes dimmed when she realized what she had done, “Sorry,” she mouthed and walked away.

“When was that?”Leo glanced at me, her forehead creased together and eyes filled with curiosity.

“The day she skipped class,” Zane mumbled. I turned my head swiftly to look at him.

“How did you know?” I asked.
