Chapter 98

~Nivea

I woke up and the car was still moving. This time my hands and legs were tied. Looking out the window, I couldn't see a single building, just tall trees. I couldn’t recognize this place.

“Where are we?” I asked, my voice hoarse. “I need water,” I eyed the water bottle in the brown head guy’s hand. “Please…”, I pleaded, coughing so hard.

Whatever they put in that cloth was too harsh and it affected my throat because I was screaming into it before I passed out.

He shrugged and passed me the water. “Better drink enough because when we get to where we are going, there’s no niceness,” I quickly opened it and greedily drank from the bottle, and then I poured the rest on my face.

I looked at the rope binding my hands carefully. I needed to find a way to undo them, so probably when I was all alone, I could find a way to escape.

I spotted my phone lying on the floor close to the door but I needed a distraction to pick it up without them noticing.
