"I think they were all under some kind of mind control," I whispered as we made our way to the small cottage I had seen in my vision.

"Who?" Elijah asked.

"Some of the villagers who loved here before. I think they were under some of Damien's mind control when they fought against each other."

"So he played tricks on their minds and made them turn on each other?" Jason asked.

"That's what I'm getting. But the pieces are distorted."

"He's sick, that one. And every time we learn something new about him, we only realize that he is even sicker than we initially thought." Elijah said quietly. He kept looking from side to side, and I thought that he was on the lookout for something. Or someone.

But Damien wouldn't really show up here, would he?

"Something wrong?" I asked him, and he sighed.

"I don’t know," he whispered, "but I feel we're being followed."

"Then perhaps we are," Jason said quietly.

I couldn't tell if we were, everything looked gener
