KYLIE’s POV

My mind raced with every possible way I could get out of going on a walk with him, and after taking too long to reply, he tilted his head to the side.

“Is that a no?”

I wanted to say “yes” indeed, it was a no. But I couldn’t bring myself to do so.

“It’s not. I’ll go on a walk with you.” I conceded because, in the end, I didn’t have a reason to tell him No. There was also a part of me that genuinely wanted to hear what he had to say.
