"It was days before I experienced any real changes within me. I was starting to believe the witches had played me, and summoned them. They swore that the blood sacrifice required seven days to take its effect. So I waited. On the seventh day after I had drunk Lily's blood, that's when it happened. The coven of witches that had begun my transformation sought me out on their own. They drew from the power of the full moon and chanted in their native tongue while I stayed in the center, awaiting the beginning of a new me. A me that would be revered and feared. Men would tremble at the thought of me, betrayal would never cross their mind."
