Chapter 41 - My ex saved the day

KYLIE’s POV

I have no idea how long I was out, but I woke up to someone shaking me gently and calling my name.

“Come on, Kylie, please wake up.” The person’s voice was both familiar and distant. Like as though they were at one end of the room while I was at the other end. I tried to respond, but I couldn’t speak. I couldn’t speak!

And I began to panic.

I moaned as I opened my eyes, my body aching all over, and was shocked to find Justin looking over me with worry.

“Kylie.” He said, and sounded truly relieved, “I was so scared.”
