Episode 6

The beeping sound of the heart monitor machine fills the room with an extra fearsome sensation. Alissa Harbor, the twin sister of Alisha Harbor is lying down on the patient bed in the ICU. Her head and left leg are dressed carefully.

Alisha, quietly walks inside the ICU room, wearing the safety apron. Her eyes turned glossy with unexplainable pain inside her heart. She always has been a crybaby in front of her twin sister. Alissa never said No to her. Alisha loves to drink chocolate milk. So she always prepared for her to make sure, Alisha drank the milk before sleeping.

Even though they have their room Alisha always crawled into her bed and nestled in her sister's embrace to sleep peacefully. Alissa never felt bored with her sister's childish Personality. Alisha is an introvert so Alissa gave her all the things that can make her feel at ease and happy.

Now, Alisha sits on the chair and holds her sister's hand firmly. The droplets of tears fall on her sister's palm. She sobs quietly, embracing her hand. She can't see her sister at this stage.

" Alissa! Wake up as soon as possible. Everyone is waiting for you. Mom and Dad cry all the time. How can you let them cry? Wake up, please. " She puts her sister's hand against her cheeks. The sobbing sounds echo throughout the room.

" Jacob is back for you. He loves you so much, Alissa. Like you used to say. He is your prince charming. He is loyal and faithful to you. But he doesn't know that you are here lying down all alone. Please wake up. I can't take it. Whenever he calls me Alissa, whenever he demands a kiss from me. I don't like it. All love belongs to you. I can't do it. Even though I love him I am not selfish to wish to get something like this. You deserve him. So please wake up as soon as possible. I feel so lonely without you. If you weren't here, maybe I wouldn't have felt these complicated feelings. You know I can't think of something perfectly. I need you. Alissa. Please wake up."

The agony from her heart is not lessening. Her voice is getting heavier. She keeps sobbing while hugging her sister. Her life seems like an utter mess. The person she loves loves her back thinking of her as her twin sister. Every time she says that she loves Jacob. Her words appear as Alissa's words. Every time, Jacob shows his love towards her, He reminds her she is not the person he loves. So the heart of her is getting exhausted from everything. She feels hopeless, thinking if her sister was there. She might not have to face those. She would have hidden her secret feelings for Jacob inside a small room of her heart not letting it out ever. But The more Jacob shows his pure love, the more Alisha falls. She can't stop her heart from falling but she can control her heart from having those desires to get the man she loves...

Alisha didn't have any idea when she fell asleep on placed her head on the side of the bed. Her sleep was disturbed by Jacob's call. She immediately wipes her tears and picks the call up. She gently squeezes her sister's hand before saying Hello to Jacob.

" Where are you? Alissa" Jacob's firm words hit her eardrums. She looks at her sister and sighs heavily.

" Meeting someone. Why?" She asked firmly rubbing her eyes and letting out a yawn.

Jacob seems to be silent for a few seconds then.

" I was thinking about... Um. Shall we go on a date? A simple date like a teenage couple does." Jacob's earlobes turn red. He slightly touches his nape while nervously shaking his leg. As like he is a teenage boy who fell in love for the first time and trying to ask his crush out on a date..

Alisha presses her lips while staring at her sister. She feels wrong and guilty. Jacob deserves to know about Alissa's situation. Maybe Jacob can help her to get recover soon. She watched movies that which people usually respond to their beloved Ones. What if Jacob can help her to get recover faster?

But When she remembers her parent's words, She doesn't know what she should do. She can see, They're betraying Jacob.. But Also What if Jacob moves on and sister gets hurt? Alisha doesn't know what she should do.

" Sure. When?" She asked clearing her throat. She will do everything to keep her sister happy. She can't let Jacob go and forget about her sister.

" What about tomorrow? About tonight. I heard there is a good Japanese restaurant nearby. You love sushi, don't you? We can have a bite together. What you say?" asked Jacob.

Alisha paused for a second, Jacob remembered everything about Alissa. What Alissa likes or dislikes. It's been a long time, How much love he has for Alissa that he never forgot any single thing about her sister. But Unfortunately, Alisha has allergies to seafood. She doesn't like Sushi either. So she doesn't know what to say and this is the first time, Jacob asked her to have dinner together. She feels guilty and bad for rejecting him.

" I heard they serve fresh Tuna and Salmon. You love them. Don't you?" Jacob tried to make her say yes. But Alisha clenches her fist. She can see how much Jacob is trying to make her happy.

" Jacob! Don't need to say anything. I am happy to go anywhere you will take me to. I will meet you at home... Then go together, OK?" Jacob laughs awkwardly. He realized he was acting pushover. But Alisha's words gave him relief that she was happy with him.

At evening...

Jacob looks at his wristwatch and leans his back on the car. He looks at the window from where he can see Alissa's bedroom. He looks a little nervous. Soon his attention shifts to Alisha who comes out wearing a beautiful dress and a little touch of makeup. He gulps his saliva down when he finds her way too beautiful in simple makeup. Her stunning figure and beautiful eyes are remarkably attractive.

" Thank you for waiting for me. Shall we go?" she said smiling.

Alisha's small smile on her lips looked so kissable that he pressed his lips to stop himself from being infatuated by...

" What's wrong? Jacob! " Alisha approaches him while tilting her head a little. Jacob is still staring at her lips which makes her blush suddenly...

" May.. May I kiss you?" Jacob clenches his fist tightly. He is finally able to say that out. But In response, He hears a sound of chuckling. Alisha chuckles softly and extends her arms to cup his face.

" I have permitted you to kiss me whenever you want. You don't need to ask for permission every time" Alisha smiles brightly. She won't let Jacob feel that he is the only one who is working on their relationship. She will make the relationship between her sister and Jacob strong so that Jacob will love her more than anyone in this world.

Jacob's mood brightens, He cups her face and gently presses his lips against her lips. She didn't stop herself from giving in to the kiss. She knows she will leave this gentleman, the man who can give her butterflies, who can make her feel happy and sad. She loves this man but she can't have him. She knows but she doesn't want to miss the feelings of these special days with him. She will take these days with Jacob as a sweet dream with her crush, her first love. A sweet dream that has no foundation in real life.
