Jayden just walked the corners of the city to the outskirts of town. He stopped his car on the edge of a river. "Shit!"

"Where have you been?" asked Gladys who was worried to see Jayden just come home almost midnight. In fact, she, Uncle Jordan — Jayden's father — and Melisa — Jayden's mother — had been waiting since dinner time to celebrate their child's graduation. But Jayden didn't come home.

"None of your business!" Jayden went straight up to his room and closed the door loudly. He immediately threw himself on the bed and tilted his body, like when Felicia first stayed overnight and cared for him who was sick. He returned to bury his face in the pillow to hold back the emotional inside of him.
