Stormy ran at the top of his speed. He was dealing surprisingly well in his condition. Alpha Blake was right, Stormy and I should be weak and barely able to move now due to our deep wounds and the dark magic intoxication. Yet the dark magic didn’t seem to linger in our lungs. Oddly enough, Peter and I were exposed to the same amount of dark smoke, it made him lose consciousness while Stormy and I were fit enough to fight.

“I seem to be resistant to the darkness, Grant. Nothing can catch me! I’m unstoppable!” My wolf barked in my mind right before his muzzle collided with a hard and furry wall. Blinking, my unstoppable wolf looked at the beta wolf who had attacked us.

Snarling loudly, the Beta launched at Stormy, biting his shoulder, before clawing his side. He was aiming for the neck, since a wound there could be lethal.
