“Come up with an excuse!” Cal chimed in.

Walking closer to Grant in a way I didn’t have to move my thighs apart too much, I murmured, “You know, I found out I have another thing. It’s surely because of my wound. Now I am always drooling down there; it must be a disease or something.”

As soon as the words left my lips, I wanted to hit my head against the wall. What the hell? That came out in the worst way possible.

Grant’s eyes popped open, and for two hot minutes, he looked at me as if I were a two-headed were-alpaca before nodding.

“Do you need to see the pack doctor?” he asked, his hazel eyes now filled with worry. Nice, now he was worried about my horny self!
