Chapter X: Accusation

“Is your ankle alright?” Leon asked and gazed at her feet. Akira felt something that made her contemplate. She doesn't want to answer Leon, especially since she doesn't know what to do after last night's argument and how mysterious it was for her ankle to have a bandage. It's making her guilty for some reason.

“Yeah…” She responded shortly and then started to walk. She's walking very slowly since she doesn't want her ankle to get worse. Leon is beside her. And in her peripheral vision, he's looking at her while they walk.

It was also early in the morning. Her maids started to clean the hall as carefully and quietly as possible. They didn't want to upset her, but their gaze was focused on her and Leon.

“Who is the man beside Miss Akira?” One of the maids whispers.

“I heard he's the one. The one and only bodyguard of our Miss.”

“He's good-looking for a bodyguard.” They continued to chat. Akira hears it all, and it can be seen that she's pissed.
