Chapter 17

    The tears began welling up in my eyes again as memories of Ava and I resurfaced. Although, it was merely a week that I had known her but that week was one of the best weeks of my life, if not the best. I remembered how happy both she and I were when we had visited the park and had rented two hairy small dogs. We had worn identical clothes which were more exposing than the clothes I wore normally. In other words, the clothes we had worn were perfectly normal and were not revealing in any terms, as the clothes I wore normally were usually covered from my neck to my toes and most of the times, from my head to my toes, as I usually wore long scarfs which covered my whole hair and most of my face, except my eyes.

       I chuckled when I remembered how I had usually asked Maribel why everyone thought we were crazy weirdos.
