The tension in the infirmary became unbearable. The muffled sound of Liam's breathing, still trapped between Nolan's fingers, made the air vibrate with a real threat of death. Nolan's golden eyes glowed with pure instinct, and Thunder was about to break any self-control he still had.

That was when Owen, who until then had been trying to remain calm, lost his patience.

He took a step forward and growled loudly, his Alpha authority filling every syllable:

“ENOUGH! EVERYONE OUT!”

His voice reverberated off the walls like thunder.

“She needs to rest! Mia needs silence and peace! I want you out now!”
