My body lay stiff and restless on the bed as I stared at the ceiling. I felt knots in my stomach. It was a tough task to sleep. The silence wrapped around me like a suffocating blanket. I turned onto my side, stomach, and back again. No matter what position I tried, sleep refused to come.
