Chapter 2

My brother's mouth fell wide open as he saw me approach the room and my sister was also surprised. I knew I was huge in size as a wolf but as a human, I didn't have much heights though I wasn't small either. 

I could see my dad was pleased as he smiled and my mom wasted no time in trying to mind link me. 

"Jane, she's beautiful. What is her name? She asked me and I could hear her voice inside my head.

"My name is Elsa, she replied by herself and bowed her head slightly.

"Hey Jane, my dad also mind linked me. "Wanna go for a run?

"No dad I feel very weak. I'll like to retire to my room instead. 

After showing off my wolf I retired to my room and had a little chit chat with Elsa. I later slept off and I couldn't even realize the breaking of the day. I immediately stood up realizing that I had alot to do so I rushed to the bathroom to freshen up. I have ultimate privacy in my room so walking about naked was something I was used to already.

"Good morning Jane, I could hear my wolf greet me. It all still felt exciting.

Good morning Elsa, I responded. "Hope you slept well.

"Well yes I did. Indeed peaceful. Her voice was amazing. She is an elegant wolf and I could feel her strength. I felt lucky too.

I quickly freshened up and left my room. I headed towards the kitchen while thinking about all the clothes I still have to wash and training by noon. Most importantly, time to spend with Elsa since I felt our first meeting was awkward. I woke up a rather little late as it was already 9:30 am. 

I opened the kitchen door and saw mom cooking. She noticed my presence and turned towards me who was standing behind her. " Sleepy head", she said with a smile and continued cooking. I moved towards her and hugged her from behind, "looks like you have everything here under your control. Why don't I leave you to it?". I turned and left without waiting for her response in order to escape her asking me to finish up the cooking. Mostly because I knew she wanted to Converse with my wolf too.

I heaved a sigh of relief and went immediately to do the laundry. Doing the laundry was a chores I didn't like but I didn't like doing the dishes moreover I was beginning to feel a little too old for any house chores apart from cooking but my younger ones would always fight at the mention of it. 

I finished up and it was already almost noon so I had to hurriedly prepare for training. I arranged the bucket and placed them properly then I hurriedly changed into my training wears and left the house with my breakfast consisting of bread and tea. I couldn't eat mom's jollof rice that she always make with special medicinal herbs that provides strength because I was already feeling late as General Mike wasn't someone to joke with and lateness was something he didn't tolerate.

I arrived at the training field lucky as I was barely 2 minutes early. Everybody where already taking position so I joined my group and took position immediately. 

General Mike came out at exactly 12 noon after we were all ready and he began the training lessons. It consists majorly of transformation, how to shift sides so fast that your opponent never expects it. I didn't usually engage in this sorts of training because I didn't have my wolf but now that I do I was scared because it hurts shifting so I didn't participate. Also Elsa has been silent through out the training so I wasn't sure if she wanted to.

Shifting from a beautiful human self to an angry werewolf ready to kill it's prey was fun and interesting. Though even in my wolf form I still look beautiful and my hair texture smooth but when angry the beauty doesn't matter but the strength and killer instinct which could make an enemy shiver. 

The training lessons were rather fun as General Mike seemed to be in a happy mood, cracking up jokes and making fun of the vampire figures we use in training and making them look really weak. 

In the old days the wolves were nothing compared to the vampires in terms of battles but the division between two Princes caused their heavy down fall to the extent that they get ridiculed by even the zombies. 

The training lessons were over and everyone left for their various homes. I also left as I was in a hurry trying to test my luck if my mom left some of the rice for me. 

"Hey Elsa, I called her hoping she wants to talk. Is there anything wrong. Hope you are okay. 

"Yes I am. Why didn't you practice the shifts you would need it too you know. 

She didn't sound angry so I felt calm in replying her. "Yes I wanted to but I was too scared.

"Don't worry, if we do it more often, it won't hurt anymore. I nodded in agreement as I approached my home.

I got home only to see that we had some guest but not just any guest. These guest were from royalty though I've never seen the king before I could guess the person in my sitting room was the king.
