Chapter 85

"Who am with? Are you being serious or joking?" Jane was puzzled. She closed her eyes and activated her wolf senses. She scaled through her house and beyond, picking scents and listening to sounds in search of any thing related to George but when she was convinced that he wasn't closed by, she began to wonder how he knew she was with someone.

Jane wasn't the only one looking confused. Sammy almost peed on his pants on hearing Jane's response to the caller. How did George know he was there. He was scared George still held his naive actions against him. He ran to the windows trying to survey the environment.

"Where are you going to?" Jane asked in a whisper directing her question to Sammy. She didn't like the way he was behaving and his body was literally trembling.

"Where else? if not to see if there's anyone outside." Sammy answered still trembling. In his life, he has never had any reason to act so cowardly.

"Hello!! Are you still there?" George asked from the other end of the call.
