Chapter-4

Izzah's pov.

I was walking on road but my mind was somewhere else, I don't know what happened to me that I can't forget that guy's handsome face. I don't know when I started staring at boys, we were talking and giggling while going to the shop. As we came, we ordered our momos, our order came after sometime. I looked everywhere if their is any earthquake, tsunami, landslide or any natural phenomena as I really want to leave momos which is in my hands now.

Yup, checked all safe

I took it in my mouth, spices exploded in my mouth and I was moaning while eating. I shook my head while eating, It was damn tasty. After having it, we started walking till my house as my house was nearby only. 

"Guys, I hope that aunty doesn't come to know that, we've again beaten some boys - said inaya in scared tone and our eyes widened.

"Ohh no, how can we forget that - said Inayat face-palming.

"Guys I am really scared, no no, she will not know anything. Ohh jesus, please I swear I will not have my favorite chocolate for a week but please aunty didn't come to know anything - said Ira looking at the sky as if god listening to her only.

"Oh no, you know mom has warned me, that if she again got a complain of us that we've beaten some boys again, she will literally kill me - I said gulping remembering her words.

Ok let me tell you everything and clear your thoughts, I don't know why but all the boys of our neighbors misbehave with four of us, we beat them and mom has got so much complains of us. So, she had warned me, it's not our fault.

"Mom will not get to know anything, don't worry - I said, they went to their respective houses and me to mine.

I rang the bell, mom opened the door and I entered. Me and arsh were getting bored so we made a plan that we will watch thor-ragnorok.

"Ohh god, I don't know what she will do when she'll go to her in-laws, please stop watching these bhor, captain and all. Take some girl's habits also, you like black colour and who on this earth like black colour. You even eat like a cave women, please change your habits izzah - said mom dramatically with her universal dialogue, "I don't know what she will do, when she'll go to her in-laws".

"Mom, its thor not bhor, its captain America not captain and if anyone wants to marry me, he have to accept me who I am, I am not going to change myself - I said confidently.

"Ok queen of Jhansi, atleast learn to make some basic food items - said mom convincing me but I pouted, I don't have much interest in cooking but I have much interest in eating.

"Mom I told you, if anyone wants to marry me, he have to accept me who I am. Yes, I love watching superhero movies. Yes, I love black colour. Yes, I am a big foodie. Yes, I don't know cooking. If I will marry someone I am leaving my house for him, my family for him. He has to be thankful to me. I am not going as a slave, If I'll get married I am going as daughter-in-law - I said proudly, three of them were looking at me with pride.

"We are proud of you - they of them said in unison.

"Oh god, mom your daughter grew up, she is behaving all mature, start finding a suitable boy for her - said arsh teasing me and I glared at him, but listening about my marriage mom's eyes got moist.

"Mom, don't get upset, I am not going today to my in laws - I said hugging her tightly.

"I think, its your age to get married, you are 25 not my child, I will not force or pressurize, just think about it, should I start finding a boy for you - said mom hesitantly, I slipped into my dreamland.

"My mom and dad have done many things for me from childhood, they fought for my studies, job and everything. I know in this time, every girl has the right to study but their are some people in society who has 1920s thinking. My parents gave everything to me which I wanted from childhood, just because of them I work in India's top most company Tarz. Every parents dream is to see her daughter getting married and lead her life happily. Even if I refuse now, I have to get married someday, I always want see my parents happy - I thought and finally decided what I have to do now.

"Mom I am ready, start finding a guy for me - I said with a smile plastered on my face, mom took me in a bone-crushing hug, dad and arsh were also smiling.

Her hug is actually bone crushing, I hope my spinal cord and ribs are fine - I thought and chuckled.

"Izzah where is your favorite bracelet - said arsh with a shocked tone and I made a confused face.

"Arsh it's in my wri......- I started but stopped as I glanced at my wrist, it was not their. I checked my whole house and room messing it up but I didn't find it. I sat on couch crying, that was my favorite favorite and I lost it. Everyone consoled me.

"Don't worry my love, I will buy a new one for you - said dad patting my head, I shook my head.

"No dad - I started sobbing hysterically, they started cheering my mood. I know it will look like I am over-reacting but that bracelet was really close to my heart, my dad gifted that to me, when I got my job in Tarz.

"Don't cry, I will make chicken curry, chapati and brownies in desert for you. They are your favorite right - said mom cheering me, I jumped on the couch. Mom started preparing for dinner and I helped her. After everything was done, we started having our dinner together, as usual we the brother-sister duo were having a competition. Mom shook her head, face palming. I internally laughed at her reaction.

After having our dinner, we all went to our respective rooms, greeting good night to each other. I was sad thinking about the bracelet but its alright, I layed on my bed and I don't know when I was in deep slumber.
