Surprise Visit

On Sunday evening all the visitors were gone, Edith and her husband remained with their daughters only. According to the culture of the foreign country, the bride was to be accompanied the following weekend to go to the groom 's home. Edith's husband made analysis of the whole tradition wedding ceremony and concluded that they had a joyful event.

Edith however told her husband and she was not satisfied about the way her daughters treated her niece, she narrated the whole story to him like Mary told her. Her husband also was very disappointed in their daughters especially Anna who was the eldest.

Anna got married into the foreign country about twelve years ago, they just registered the marriage but they couldn't hold the wedding, later they were to hold a traditional wedding when her husband has finished paying for her lobola. Anna and her two sisters were scolded by their parents for ill treating Evelyn and there was nothing they could say except for apologising.
