Tom proposed

Two months before Evelyn completed her Midwifery program, Tom invited her for dinner at a fancy restaurant in the city. He bought her a new dress and shoes, he also bought a new clutch bag and earrings. Evelyn was now used to Tom buying her clothes but she still asked him.

"What's the special occasion, are you buying me new clothes for just dinner in a restaurant?" 

"It's not just a dinner in the restaurant, it's a dinner before your last examination as a student nurse, is that not special?" 

"Yah it is, I didn't look at it from that angle." 

"Now get dress so that we won't be late"
