chapter 2

Zara :

"Is that Clara?" I asked our housekeeper who I met on the compound. Of course, no one else would drive off our car like that but I had to ask since that was yet another heartbreak that I got from my sister. Another surprise and I'm not afraid. I only hoped she wouldn't get worse.

"Yes princess" she replied, smiling.

Clara was gone. My hand flew to my forehead while I processed the madness. I could barely put it in control as I walked back inside madly. I thought of how unmannered I was, I should've said hi to Mrs. Gwen at least.

She had always called us her little princesses since we were kids and she kept it that way even when we'd grown. She made the mother we never got to see in our life. I didn't understand how our mother died when we were just toddlers but Dad said it was a terrible accident. Since then, Mrs Gwen didn't let us feel what kids felt when they needed a mother and found no one to hold them. We happily thought she was our mother as some clueless kids we were before we learned the truth. We named her mom. At least we did.

I continued to hiss irritably as I walked in very fast before I nodded at something.

"Dad?"

"Hey," he smiled when I snappily looked up to him.

It wasn't any weird since I walked in, in such a bad manner.

I realized my dad was on the way after I nodded at his chest. He embraced me quickly.

"Which one of you wants to hug me first today?" He asked, pushing my chin back to look at me very well. I couldn't help but fake the slight smile that came from nowhere.

"Hi Dad, it's Zara"

"Oh Zara," he said and hugged me again.

"How are you doing Zara?" He asked.

"I'm fine dad, have you seen... Clara today?" I replied, throwing back question at him. That was the best because it wasn't always cool standing still after meeting Dad like that. I better hurry my way out because I would be late answering tons of questions that I didn't want.

"Yeah...she branched to say hi. Is there any problem?"

"Not really, I...woke up late today and Clara was ready for school. So I asked her to go since you could give me a ride." I grinned.

He moved down his little spec, almost to the level of his nose. He gawked at me like he was having a short thought of something suspicious but he rolled his eyeballs and nodded. I let the scurry spirit all around me really obvious, so he should remember I was still in haste.

"Ok I'm ready, are you ready?" He asked and pushed his spec back to its position.

"Yeah.."

*************

I spent the moment of the journey thinking of where Clara would've gone. Who would've thought she left me just to reach the school alone?

A crazy rolling girl was the first thing I saw from far away. I knew she was standing before the Stallion cheer members.

As I moved closer, her outfit seemed familiar and my heart delighted when she looked like my sister. Except I wasn't mistaken, she was my sister.

Clara looked very hot leading my team cheer members at her comedy. There were a lot of crazy things that I couldn't understand immediately after I got to school.

Who on earth leads the cheer members in mofty?

I chortled out before our eyes jammed.

I couldn't help the broad smile that I gave my sister when she finally saw me.

It was the most exciting and lively thing she's done as far as I could clearly remember.

Her move was funny when she jumped and her skirt rolled up and down as she twists. That was more than a Cinderella to me.

Happiness overwhelmed me when I saw her smile too and all the irritation in me slowly died down.

I jogged in before I discovered the cheer members weren't practicing. They knew they were not doing anything serious but they seemed happy about it. I joined my sister on the front and to be frank, It felt like forever. Everyone was happy to see us that way and that was all I ever wanted for my sister.

"Who would've thought Clara..."

"You're welcome" she giggled.

"Mrs Ann needed Zara's attention but Clara was available. I let her know since I was the reason you came late"She broadened her eyebrows at me and waited for my response until we both rather burst into laughter.

"Um...for the record, I'm really sorry" She apologized in such a silly manner after we'd taken a break but I hugged her tightly and I didn't want to let go. It felt like I had back my sister. We stood, smiling heartily at each other before Richard snatched my attention.

He stood behind Clara like my new clueless sneaky boyfriend.

"Hey," I walked up to grab his wrist.

"Hello.." he said, looking in a different direction as we walked. I wondered why he looked so taken away before I realized it wasn't just any direction. He was staring at my sister.

"Are you...with me?" I tapped him.

"Of course!" He replied loudly. Said the guy who seemed shocked by my touch. obviously, he wasn't with me.

"How have you prepared your serious explanation for me?" He asked.

"How serious?" I pecked him, smiling. He looked at me with a side eye and I was doing the same until we found ourselves heading in an empty classroom. We strode in like it was just the best place to be.

"Let me guess" I surged forward.

"It's an explanation that I have a twin sister, Clara who looked exactly like me but yet...you never knew"

"And..."

"Shhh" I shut his mouth with a kiss when he wanted to add up more.

"Nothing, except that she... doesn't tolerate a lot of things lately" I moved close to him again but he pulled back a bit, resting on the wall of the class which then trapped him.

"And... Why had I not been seeing her in school?" he echoed standing properly and folding his arms. I never told him anything about Clara because I didn't feel great bringing her between us. Especially not the present Clara I had right then.

She traveled. That was the first thing that came to my mind but there was that part of me which don't want to lie to him.

"She got suspended because she was involved in some fight. Like I said, she doesn't tolerate a lot of things lately. End of story!"

That was when the question came to my mind since she got into the school before me.

"Did you in any way...mess with her thinking it was me?" I darted into his eyes. After keeping me for a long, he let down a huge sigh before he could reply "No"

"Cool" I went for his lips again but he gave me that look of unreadiness. His face looked so dull even though he taught me all that. My flashbacks through the last two weeks were nothing nice to me. The day my sister got suspended was the day my boyfriend broke up with me. Everything had it rough on me before I finally met Richard. His radiant smile first tamed my sorrow when he asked me out on a date. His unique blonde hair and deep eyes as he winked at me caused me to accept and I fell more deeply the day after that. He was like magic to me.

He was the new player signed by the Falcon team and girls seemed to fawn all over him. He appears hot when he puts on their yellow sportswear. His agility and speed make him unstoppable when he holds the ball. He just entered Falcon the previous two weeks and man had become freaking popular.

He was the lovely guy I dreamt of meeting every night I slept.

"What's wrong?" I asked, looking into his eyes.

His face told a lot. He was restless, wondering and... surprised for God knows why. Above all, he didn't seem ready to make out with me.

"Um...can we do this here? I mean...it's a classroom" he chuckled reluctantly and shifted back again. Said the guy who makes out with me at the bar he first hit me up. This is weird.

"if you're not in the mood, fine" I turned to walk away but felt the warmth of his hand holding my wrist. He pressed on it for a bit before he finally pulled me closer and grabbed my sight.

His fairly innocent face which cared about the classroom before changed.

I could feel the spirit coming over him. I thought we would be at it again but it never happened.

The sudden mumbles and buzzes drew us out.

I think my sister is at her fuss again.

**********************************************

"No Dad you can't do this to her again, okay? She just got back and she ..." I burst into tears before I could uphold my father's desk.

"She was really happy with me today" I yelled at my dad. He had sent my sister on another suspension even though she had a lot of events at school. It's her graduation for goodness sake!

"She's happy with you?"

"but just for today..." he smirked.

"Oh Dad please, she's your daughter" I cried dotting to the floor.

"You should give her another chance"

"As the school proprietor, I suspend her. But as her Father, I could make her spend the rest of eternity at home if she don't change. So now, you would get out of my office" he stood up and directed me to the door.

"Get out!" He yelled as I stood stalking.

I went backwardly and slowly and I never took my eyes off him until I got to the door.

"Then I guess I better join her!" I said angrily as I wiped off the last drops of my tears before I got out.

Richard was still waiting outside for me.

"Hey," he took my hand and gaped sharply into my eyes.

"you're still here"

"Heyy..." he clutched me when he saw the uneasiness on my face.

I tightened harder when he seemed to want to end it because I felt like the hug wasn't long enough. It was too slight to be us.

"Is your sister good?"

" yeah.." I sighed.

"She's gonna be"

"Can I say hi to her?" He asked, smiling. I looked at him like I was rubber-necking before I twisted my gaze slowly to the ground.

"Sure"
