I felt weak.

The way my magic and power had been drained was appalling.

Greco consumed as much as he could, ravaged me, and didn't hold back.

Greco used so much of me that, at one point, I fell down, defeated, without strength or the will to live. Part of me just wanted death to finally take me; another part fought with the urge to kill him in the slowest and cruelest way possible.

And that was saying a lot because the fact that I had lost all hope in a few weeks said how terrible it was to fall on the wrong side of that damn vampire.

I hope I can die right after I end his life, I thought resentfully.

That's what I repeated in my mind over and over again as I kept my eyes closed.
