Chapter 9 A loveless marriage

*Lorenzo POV*

I walked into my room only to see an amazing sight in front of me: my wife was naked. I guess she just came out of the bathroom and wants to get dressed in her nightie.

I walked closer to her in shadow steps, then hugged her from the back, feeling her soft body texture, but she quickly jerked from my embrace.

"Are you okay? How dare you!" Came her instant cold voice, knocking me away.

"Why? Can't I hug my wife again?" I asked, feeling unhappy about her reaction.

"Listen, Lorenzo, I don't want this to repeat itself again!" She declared.

"What's your problem, woman?" You have denied me sex for two good years; you don't even cook for me, and now I can't even hug you?" I blurted it out, clearly annoyed with her behavior.
