111. Tessa's POV

We were back home but without our children but with an unconscious aunt of mine whom I had never met before today and a badly beaten up vampire.

"Why did you have to beat him that much?" I asked Mason when I saw the condition the vampire was in.

He shrugged his shoulders and gave that smile he always gave when he didn't have a good explanation for something.

"He… he said that alpha vampires were overrated and I wanted to show him that we weren't overrated," he said and Alex slapped him on the shoulder in that way men do.

"Good. He shouldn't have underestimated my mate," he said and they both smiled at each other.

"Alex, stop encouraging him! He could just have bitten him and that would have paralyzed him," I told them although I didn't use a stern voice.

"It won't happen again not unless they underestimate us again," Alex said and I rolled my eyes at him.

He talked as if he was the one who beat up the man.
