It's been seven years since I last stepped foot in our pack. Seven years ago, I was only thirteen years old when I confessed to our next to be Alpha, Alex.

Alex was my brother's best friend and the man I had a secret crush on. He was eighteen years old, the ideal age a wolf finds their mate. I didn't want him to find his mate without knowing how I felt about him so I confessed to him and you can imagine what happened.

Alex said that I was too young to understand the concept of mating and that he could never take a child for a mate. I was heartbroken and before he could find his fated mate, I left the pack with my uncle and went to his pack.

My uncle is the alpha of the Silver mist pack and my mother's only brother.

My mother died after giving birth to me.

My father and brother loved me alot,I believe they still do since today I am coming back after my father's request to visit him. I never got to see my mother apart from a few pictures dad saved for us. My father always says that I am the spitting image of his mate, my mother.

From the stories I hear, my parents were so much in love and Leo and I are the product of their sweet love.

My father comes from the lineage of Betas and that makes me a Beta daughter. My brother took over after my father and he is the beta now under Alex, the Alpha.

I have not communicated with Alex since I left the pack. I blocked him on social media and of course, the asshole never bothered to contact me. Not like I was important to him such that he would try connecting with me after leaving for seven years.

I occasionally do FaceTime with my father and sometimes my brother. I didn't have any friends in the pack so nobody from the pack knew anything about me.

I had finally graduated from college with my cosmetology degree. I have always had a thing with designing perfumes and an excellent ability when it comes to scents.

I am excited to meet my father after all the years.

I wished I could have found my mate in my uncle's pack, unfortunately, I wasn't as lucky. I am now twenty years old and honestly, I am open-minded when it comes to sex.

Many would prefer to wait until they found their mates but I thought otherwise.

I have kissed a few girls and boys too and honestly, kissing a girl wasn't as disgusting as I thought.

' That's because you are bisexual.' my wolf, Sasha, snickered.

' Don't pretend like you didn't enjoy it.' I smirked at her, successfully shutting her up.

Yesterday we sneaked out to get a few smooches from a girl we liked. I would not mind if the moon Goddess blessed me with a female as our mate.

' Or we could have both.' Sasha said and I giggled from the thought.

' Looks like you are hornier.' It was my time to snicker at my wolf's large sexual appetite.

I took a cab to the pack, my uncle said I was too reckless to drive on my own. I can't blame him though, I have a thing with racing cars and you can't imagine the number of cars I have ruined until I no longer get to drive my uncle's cars.

It's been hours and this is my fourth car to board.

My earphones were plugged in as I continued to hum to Mabel's song, don't call me up.

My back was hurting at this point and all I wanted to do is get home, take a shower and rest.

I heard from my father that my brother found his destined mate and they are already expecting. Trust my brother Leornado to have boiling blood and not waste time to knock up his wife within a year of mating.

" We are here." The cab driver announced as the car came to a halt a few metres from our house. We didn't live in the packhouse but our own wasn't far from where the Alpha lived.

I took a deep breath before exhaling heavily.

" Feels so good to be home." a sweet smile adjourned my lips.

I was finally home. I stepped out, looking at the house that has all my childhood memories. A feeling of nostalgia hit me as I remembered all the fun things we used to do as a family.

I paid the cab driver and he left. I dragged my suitcase to the house. Pushing the door open, silence is what welcomed me. I frowned, wondering where on earth the two men ran off knowing that I would be arriving today.

" Hello, is somebody home?" I called out despite knowing it sounded childish coming from me."

" Oh my baby is home!" My father's sweet and intoxicating voice sounded from the kitchen as he emerged, an apron secured around his waist as he wiped his hands clean using a tea towel.

" Dad, I missed you!" I lunged into his arms, hugging him as if my life depended on it.

It has been seven fucking years since I embraced my father and I didn't know how much I missed him until he secured me in his arms, twirling me around like he used to do.

" My little girl has grown to be such a beautiful princess." My father praised, finally putting me down as I giggled at his antics.

" Stop it Dad, after seven years you didn't expect me to come back the same!" I said, rolling my eyes on him and he smiled adoringly.

" Yeah, my baby isn't my baby anymore. She's a woman now." He teased and I blushed.

" Go up and freshen up. Lunch will be ready soon." My father Instructed.

" Where is Leo?" I found myself asking. I could not feel his presence in the house so that could only mean that he was out of the house.

" Went to the office. He will be here then we can all have lunch together." My father announced, making me squint my eyes at him suspiciously.

" What do you mean by all of us? Tell me you haven't invited someone else?" I groaned out loud, frustrated that I would have to see someone I have fought hard to forget for years.

" I didn't!" My father protested almost immediately, confirming my speculations.

I headed upstairs to my room, dragging the suitcase with me.

I could use some warm bath and a little sleep to recharge my life batteries.
