Chapter 24: Sneaking over

I walked into the kitchen to try and catch my breath, last time I was in love with Darren I listened to his lies and excused but this time I didn’t have too. I’m stronger and I’m smarter, and I have Jeremy to look out for. I drank some water as I tried to calm myself down, I wasn’t sure how to handle this.

I felt someone come into the kitchen, I saw Darren behind me he’s hair was a bit longer and he was slimmer but none of those things suited him. He looked different to me now, I didn’t look at him with love in my eyes anymore.

I went to walk past him when he grabbed my arm,

“What’s going on, I thought you would be happy to see me.”

I shook my head, “Are you kidding me right now, your forcing me into something I don’t even want and you think I’ll be happy.”
