Chapter 75: Heart to heart with a stranger

I looked over the man, he was pretty rough looking which made me a bit nervous. Here I am yet again getting myself in fucking trouble. Every time I stepped foot in this city I would get mad and over react, I felt guilty for not hearing Steve out.

I looked up at the man standing next to me,

“Nope, not his girl and never will be again.”

He nodded, “I don’t blame you, he’s a real asshole that guy. Do you mind if I sit?”

I put my arm out, and he sat down. He looked me over,

“Your pregnant? Is that Darren’s?”

II shook my head, “No, Steve’s ironically enough.”

He began to laugh, “That’s funny, you need to get out more often girl! We are talking about Steve as in Darren’s best friend Steve?”

I laughed and nodded.

“Well I don’t know Steve too well but he always seemed like a solid guy, where is he now?”

“I’m not sure probably looking for me. I tend to get mad and take off on him every time something happens.”
