Chapter Fifty Three

Claris sprang up as her eyes beheld her sister, Vivian. The latter was taken into Claris and Katrina's cell, stupefying both of them.

"You can stay here while we prepare your cell." The warden said. Vivian nodded thankfully and walked to her sister's bed.

"Why here?" Katrina hissed. "Why can't ahead stay in another cell?

The warden was about to reveal that Claris was Vivian's sister but Claris stopped her with a glared.  Vivian chuckled and approached her sister reluctantly. Claris recoiled. She had no idea what Vivian was going to do, but she hoped they wouldn't have to hug each other. 

"May I sleep here tonight?" Vivian asked Claris. Katrina snorted and looked away as Claris moved aside and let Vivian sleep on one side. 

"There are eight beds in here. Why did you choose a bed which is already occupied." Katrina finally asked.

"I am scared someone might kill me in my sleep...." Vivian replied. Claris did not say a word, but she gave Vivi
