Chapter Fifty Two

Lance stood in front of board and the other agents. The time had come for him to be inaugurated as the Chief Agent. Lance looked at John and smiled heartily. The position of Chief Agent had come to him at the right time. Now the two of them would be able to bring a stop to the human trafficking syndicate once and for all. The Chairman stepped forward and placed the pins of authority on Lance and made him take an oath in front of everyone. 

John applauded merrily. He knew a time like this would come and he would have to support his best friend wholeheartedly because a new day had come in NBCI; a new leader had emerged. He was going to set everything right and bring back the good reputation of the justice system. Lance saluted the board and turned to his comrades as they all stood up and saluted him. 

"Thank you for choosing me as your next leader. I promise to uphold justice and to bring peace to our citizens by alleviating crimes of all kinds." Lance said and sal
