Chapter 21

Fiona was holding her bag in her arms when she stood at the door. She stared at what was happening inside in shock. Jackson did not seem the slightest bit shocked with her arrival and calmly turned and asked, “What are you doing here?”

His voice was calm, but the look in his eyes was cold. Fiona shuddered when he saw how indifferent he looked. “I… I came…”

When she saw that Jackson had pushed Yvonne up against the wall, Fiona would not continue her sentence, as if her words got stuck in her throat.

She thought Jackson was flirting with some other woman in his office, but she did not expect the woman to be Yvonne.

What was she doing in his office? When had they gotten in touch with each other?

Her heart was racing. When Yvonne saw the shock in Fiona’s eyes, she laughed to herself as she pushed Jackson away and strode off.

Although she was uncomfortable being pushed up against a wall by Jackson without her consent, she felt great that Fiona had witnessed it.
