Chapter 22

When she returned to Zachary’s office, he had a frustrated expression on his face as he sat in his office. He had thrown a tantrum earlier and files were scattered across the floor.

Felix stood there in his office with his head lowered, not saying a word. Yvonne hurried to pick up the files and placed them in front of Zachary. When Zachary saw Yvonne, he wiped the frustration off his face and said, “Contact Commissioner Lance from the Department of City Development for a meeting!”

“Yes, right away!” Yvonne immediately picked up the phone and called Commissioner Lance.

After she hung up, she reported to Zachary, “President Quimby, Commissioner Lance has agreed for a meeting!”

“He agreed? Haha, that old fox!”

Zachary laughed. Commissioner Lance from the Department of City Development was said to be a tough nut to crack. Things would become much easier if they could get him on their side.
