It all happened too fast, so unexpectedly I mean one minute she was watching that bastard be killed, the next minute she cries out while he dies laughing as she falls to the ground in pain. I ran to her, if only I was closer I would've pushed her out of the way or even taken the hit for her. I'd rather it be me any day than my mate.
I plead with her to hang in there and stay awake, right now I don't care who sees me the big bad Alpha crying, I'm about to lose my mate, I yell for a doctor repeatedly what's taking so damn long?
