Villa or Castle

CHAPTER 8

[ Emily ]

Looking out the car to clear her mind, Emily noticed the scenery had changed more like the car was taking a more secluded route, the road was empty except their car . Emily looked round then looked at Susan.

“Where are we going?, This route looks strange .”Emily asked a little bit scared

“This is the way to our Villa, my husband didn't like the city life he liked peace and quiet .”Susan said smiling 

“It's beautiful .”Emily said, looking out again relieved.

“Casper and Amelia never stayed here , Amelia liked the city life, I hated the fact that she took my son away from us at that time .”Susan said with a little frown

Emily didn't know Why Susan said it but it sounded like a warning .

“I don't have any say in his daily life , don't expect me to act as a dutiful wife and daughter in-law .”Emily suddenly said coldly

Susan immediately sighed, not Knowing how to continue.

Emily was wowed by the gate, it looked like a wall blocking the outside world from what's inside.

The gate opened automatically when the car got closer.”All the cars have been scanned , no other car can enter inside the Villa without being scanned.”Susan said 

Emily was too stunned to speak , the path leading to the Villa itself was  adorned with beautiful flowers matching  aesthetic and scenery. Driving to the main house was another journey .

Emily noticed that they were men on black suit all over the place .”Who are this people ?.”Emily asked Susan

Susan hesitated before answering .”Just bodyguards , they work 247 .”Susan said 

When the Villa came into view , Emily couldn't help but open her mouth in surprise.” This is a fucking castle.” Emily cried out 

“This is just the outside , wait till you see the inside.”Susan said smiling and enjoying the look on Emily's face

Their car came to a halt and some guards came quickly to open the door with something in their hands.

“Our house has the most top notch security system which is hard to crack, but some measures are taken to achieve that.”Susan paused looking at Emily's confused face

“Any time we go out and come back home they will be guards with scanner to scan you for bugs .”Susan said 

“Bugs?.” Emily asked totally confused

“Yes, listening devices or bombs all these can be planted on your body without you knowing.” Susan said

“That's crazy.” Emily said

“Enough of the boring talk, this is Adam and Harry they are your own guards while Stacy is your personal maid.”Susan said introducing the three new faces

Emily didn't know what to do nor say at this point.

“This is Casper's wife and you have to give her the same respect you give to Casper. “Susan said sternly

“Welcome home young madam. “Stacy said smiling while the other men just made a bow

“Am a little bit tired can you show me to my room.”Emily said feeling tired

“Casper sent a message something came up in the office , hopefully he'll be joining us for dinner .”Susan said

Emily breathed a sigh of relief.”Okay .”Emily managed to say

“Am going out for some work . Take care of yourself and feel free .”Susan said going back inside the car

Emily suddenly felt like a fish pulled out from the river immediately the car left.

“Uhm Stacy can you assist me to my room.” Emily said politely

“This way , young madam.” Stacy said with a smile

“Call me Emily.”

“It's against the rules here. I'm sorry I can't.” Stacy said bowing

“Just take me to my room .”Emily said not wanting to argue now

The Villa or should i say castle was beautifully decorated ,I would have felt like a princess but the situation .

“This is your room and the one opposite is the Masters room .”Stacy said opening the door

The room was two times bigger than any room I have ever stayed in before . The arrangements and the ambience were so soothing.

I immediately sat on the bed which was so soft .”You can leave now.” I said already sleepy

“Okay ma'am.” Stacy said leaving quietly

I stood up observing the place , there was another door which I am assuming is the closest. 

The closet was filled with different sections , shoes , clothes of different styles , color etc . This is so overwhelming.

What is he going to do when he finds out I am fake? Better not think about that now.

The bathroom was as big as my former room  , how Rich are they.

I immediately went back to the bathroom to catch some sleep .

This life isn't going to last forever , I'll have to start brainstorming for revenge ideas .

Dan and Cheryl, you guys are not going to see this coming.
