Chapter 7 

[ Emily ]

During my last stay in the hospital Susan managed to fill me in on some details I'll be needing.

Casper hasn't been coming frequently , after his discharge he was deeply imersed in his work. I pray his work load increase so I'll be left alone .

“ Amelia we have to leave the hospital now , is there any thing you want to discuss with the doctor.” Susan said smiling at her

“Nothing for now .”Emily replied 

We are going to be moving back to the Villa today according to Susan. She has been happy since the doctor said I can be discharged and was fine.

Susan has been quite a talkative lately not that i mind her talks. “ I think you still need a wheelchair Amelia.”Susan said suddenly

I don't think i can bear sitting in a wheelchair again ,” There's no need for that the doctor said the baby is okay and exercise is needed now.” Emily said holding her little bump with a smile

Susan left the room maybe to get something but Emily was surprised to see her and a smiling Casper . 

“Surpriseee!!!..”. Susan said 

Wait. Why are they doing all this unnecessary stuff .

“Hey.”I said trying to hide my discomfort behind a smile

Casper's presence always make me tense up.”You didn't tell me you will be coming today honey.”Emily said with a forced smile

“ Let's go home baby.”Casper said holding her before planting a kiss in her forehead

Home- Can I call that place home, as far as i know I have no home , no family except my baby.

“mmm.” Emily nodded trying to stand from the bed , before she could do that Casper already carried her in a bridal way.

“Put me down!! , Am perfectly capable of walking!!!, Susan tell him to please put me down!.” Emily screamed while hitting Casper's back all through the hallway with everyone ignoring her even Susan left her 

Is this the plan , seriously. someone please pinch me.

“Hmmph .” Emily huffed already tired of shouting which made Casper chuckle making her body vibrate in return .

“Already tired cara.” Casper said spanking her butt which caused her to yelp loudly .

“You crazy bastard!!!!...” Emily shouted hitting his back causing him to wince in pain

Serves him right.

“Amelia you have a perfect butt you know , it's even better than before .”Casper said with a sexy smirk plastered on his face

This man has lost his mind , obviously.

“Am pregnant you know and bullying a pregnant woman isn't good .”Emily said gritting her teeth 

Casper dropped her gently  .”Is the baby okay , are you fine.”Casper asked worriedly

“Don't touch me.” Emily said walking ahead of him as fast as she could

This was the scene Susan met.”Is everything alright son?.”She asked him

“I just made a pregnant woman mad .”Casper said with a sad face

Susan understood immediately, she observed that Emily wasn't yet comfortable in Casper's presence and Casper carrying her made her angry.

“I'll talk to her , just drive back home and i will drive back with Emily .” Susan said considering Emily's temper she and Casper might end up having another quarrel if they drive back in the same car.

“But…”

“No buts , take care and drive carefully . “Susan said leaving him 

Casper mistaking Emily for Amelia is something Susan find hard to believe , The two people involved are opposite in her own opinion.

Emily just closed her eyes when she entered the car , she didn't want to talk to anyone at the moment. 

Planning her revenge was something she couldn't forget . Casper is just a stepping stone for her.

She just pray he recovers his memory quickly so that…

“Are you still angry at Casper.” Susan said entering the car

Emily immediately released the breath she was holding.” Thanks for not letting Casper ride with me , am not emotional stable now .” Emily managed to explain

“Casper is just happy to reunite with the girl he loves that why he's like that.” Susan said

“Am not Amelia the girl who loves him, my reaction wasn't far fetched. This task is weighing me down and bitting me emotionally.”Emily said finally allowing the tears to flow 

“You don't have to cry Emily.” Susan said using her real name maybe to comfort her .” This is just an illusion you have to create in your mind but if you can't fight the feeling embrace it.”Susan said

“I was betrayed by the two people have always leaned on . Loving someone with everything in you and getting nothing more but betrayal and pain. Am sorry if my acting has been affecting your son , I can't do more than that.”Emily said wiping her tears

She can't afford to let her already broken heart get involved in an act of fake love.
