While the airplane taking them to New York, was smoothly crossing the ocean, Norah kept looking at the white clouds. She now knew that Leone was really through with her. She had waited for him at the airport, but he didn’t come for her. She kept hoping until the plane took off and still no sign of him.

Strangely, Freddie was standing next to her, allowing her to morn in silence, looking genuinely worried about her. From time to time, she would give him a quick glance, trying to understand the reason why a man who never give a damn about her, would come to Italy to help her.
