BONDING AND TRUTH

At the Alpha's parlour upstairs, we settle on his comfy leather couches which I've never settled on before. I inhale his parlour's scent which is similar to his at all levels and I can't help but want to get into his sexy arms immediately.

I start fantasizing at how good looking he is and how he will take me to cloud nine when we finally mate. Alpha Waylon is such a well-built man and he has muscles at all the right places.

My mate switches on the television and then invites me to lean on his chest for us to watch a wildlife documentary. I make myself comfortable around him, finally relaxing in his cozy arms and he cuddles me.

I get wet immediately but I warn my honeypot not to start misbehaving since my mate and I have to bond and mate properly, that's during and after my Luna ceremony, then we can do all the love making in this world!

There and then, I warm up to him and decide to tell him everything that happened to me earlier today. I have to share the ordeal with him because he's now part of my life and I can't keep him in dark for long!

Alpha Waylon hasn't asked me anything yet but I can feel his anxiety and how eager he is to know how everything transpired. Well, right now I'm willing to narrate everything to him as it transpired. He has to know that nothing bad happened to me except being harassed and slightly tortured, and also his son's attempt to have me forcefully and then our mother goddess' intervention.

"Baby," I gather all my courage to call him and he responds. His baritone vibrates through his chest, to my ears. "I'd like to take you through what happened to me earlier today.... everything." I say to him.

Alpha Waylon gently removes my head from his chest and makes me lean on his arm. His face hovers over me and his eyes lock with mine. I smile sheepishly.

"Do you have to, babe?" He asks and I smile with determination.

"Yes dear, I have to take it out of my chest and also to get closure since something strange has been happening to me and in sure there's a connection to it."

Alpha Waylon pecks at my lips then positions himself better on the couch. It seems he has gained interest in my story.

"Okay babe, I'm all ears." He says to me.

"Jaxon came into my room at around three in the morning. He called my name out and I opened for him because I was sleepy and I mistook his voice for yours." I start and the Alpha grins widely. Why is he even grinning instead of being angry with me for opening my door and letting in his son, mistaking him for the Alpha.

Either way, I continue with my narration, going ahead to tell him everything that transpired from my room upto the abandoned house.

"Jaxon wanted me to reject you via a call but I objected vehemently, something that made him to unleash his ruthless boys on me to slap and kick the daylight out of me." I explain.

"He's so insensitive. He thought you'd reject me?" The Alpha asks while grinning.

"I couldn't dare reject you my love. I was ready to die knowing that you're my only mate!" I say, returning the smile.

"Thank you my love. Not many who can die for love, you know?" He's smiling even more.

"When I couldn't bring myself to reject you, Jaxon ordered the men to pin me on the ground and strip me naked so that he can forcefully have me!" I'm already overwhelmed by emotions as I say this and before I know it, I'm sobbing really hard on my mate's chest. The memories of the past few hours at the abandoned house come back flowing into my mind.

Those guys almost succeeded.

Jaxon almost succeeded in deflowering me.

He'd have also succeeded in handing me over to those rogues if our mother goddess hadn't appeared sooner to save me!

"I'm sorry babe," my mate consoles me, "you went through all that because of me. I'm so sorry!" He adds while brushing a strand of stray hair from my face.

"He almost succeeded, baby.... Jaxon almost ra*ed me were it not for mother goddess's intervention!"

Alpha Waylon embraces me warmly without saying anything and lets me sob on his chest.

"It's alright baby, everything will be okay my love. I'm glad he didn't succeed!" He says gladly.

I sit up from his lap and wipe tears from my eyes. "I can't believe he wanted to have me, then hand me over to the rogues to have their way with me as well." I smile humorlessly, after recalling how mother goddess showed me her mercies. "They'd have taken my innocence away and I'd have nothing to offer you, my love!" I conclude then go back to weeping, this time round wailing loudly.

Alpha Waylon consoles me for minutes, trying to stabilize me but the more he does, the more I cry out loudly. I can't believe I'm here with him after that scary and traumatizing ordeal earlier today.

"Mother goddess loves you, baby. That's why she protected you from all that evil." My mate says then sighs. "She also knows I'd be devastated if anything ever happened to you. I couldn't have taken it, for real!" He declares and I can tell the hurt and fear in his eyes by just looking at them.

My mate tries so much to console me, assuring me that everything will be alright, yet he doesn't seem strong as such. I'm sure he's just trying his best to put himself together so as not to show his weakness to me. He really loves me and losing me might have meant a double tragedy to him, having in mind that he lost his mate and daughter not more than a year ago!

"Tell me about mother goddess's appearance and how she intervened." My mate probes immediately I stop sobbing.

Smiling, I narrate everything about her appearing to me, not even today but also some days ago in a dream-like vision to assure me about meeting a second chance mate.

"Wow!" He exclaims. "You must be a chosen one, baby. It seems the moon goddess has already favoured you, my love and soon enough she will reveal your purpose in life at this Pack."

"Her exact words, dear. How did you know?" I ask curiously. Those are the exact words that mother goddess told me after rescuing me from my perpetrators.

"Instincts baby, instincts." He smiles broadly. " My gut feelings never lie baby, you're destined for greatness!"

"I pray so dear, I sincerely do!"

After having that long and hearty conversation, Alpha Waylon keeps on apologizing to me and assuring me that nothing of that sort will ever happen to me, ever again. Not under his watch.

He promises to protect me and guard me always, from all evil men and women around us, including his son Jaxon. He's so remorseful and I can't help but believe him and sincerely count on his support.

My mate and I continue taking our juice and also focus on the already forgotten documentary, as I bask in his warm embrace. Ahw, he's so warm and accommodating and I don't think I'll ever get enough of his warmth and love!
