29: Scaring Wifey

“Is that…” Xavier trailed with a gasp, looking at his brother with pent-up anxiety. Theo nodded.

“Would you like to take one more, just to be certain?” He asked hopefully,

“Are you serious?” Xavier growled, “after those two, how much sure do you want to be?”

“Open up!” Theo retorted instead, tearing up the kit wrapper and took out the test stick. He directed it to Xavier's mouth, who cooperated with a disgruntled sigh. After swabbing as required, he put it in the testing liquid and leaned back to wait.

“If you are going to make me take that also, let us get this done with,” Xavier grumbled, opening his mouth wide. Theo grabbed the kit and laid it on his lap protectively.

“This is for Alicia.” He announced carelessly, making Xavier narrow his eyes in wonder.

“You will ask your wife to take a test?”

“Yeah,” Theo answered calmly.
