Chapter 33 – Can't Help Falling
The midnight blue chiffon evening dress was waving at me since I entered my room. I know I have plenty of time, but Jane kept on pressuring me to wear the dress because I did not try to fit it this morning.
One helpful thing that Albert did, unlike Jane's bedroom, was there was no single mirror in my room. He asked Dani personally to take the mirror away, teasing him that I was scared of my own ugly reflection.
I started undressing and wore the evening gown. Suddenly, I regret not having a mirror to see how nice it looked on me. The seamstress surely got my exact body measurement because the heart-shaped empire bust design enhanced my chest. I felt the layer of the dress and thought how fast they were in making it. There were light pleats along with the long dress and the blue chiffon fabric highlights my figure. The design was simple but elegant.
