Chapter 22: Family matters

Greg's pov

My father went and fetch my mom to join us.

It's my first time having a meal with them. They often inivite me to eat outside but I always refused. The anger and resentment I felt had keep me away from them for too long.

I never know that sharing a meal with family felt this good. I should have done this a long time ago.

I still feel ackward talking with them though.

Roger and Kevin already went home a while ago. Fin stayed with us and decided to just hitch a ride with my family going back home.

"When you were young, you always got sick and everytime you're sick we don't have money so your father went to knock his friend's doors. Some feel pity and let us borrow but most of them doesn't. If we can't borrow any money we turn to herbal medicines and home remedies", Mom narrated.
