"From now on, call me by my first name," I told Jake while going to school, looking out the car window.

"But..."

"No buts. Just follow what I said."

"Okay. I understand," he replied.

I sighed and closed my eyes. If he calls me "Your Highness" or "Princess", they might suspect we are both pretending.

Two days have passed since the Grand Celebration ended. The announcement and my imprisonment of Elder Lukas became a topic of discussion in the whole pack.

Many were surprised at the news that Elder Lukas could do such a thing to the Crimson Pack, but all evidence pointed to him.

I was also surprised by what I found out. I know that Elder Lukas was one of Dad's confidants, so it's a big question to me why Elder Lukas did that thing.

"Hold my hand," I ordered Jake when we got to the University.

Jake looked at me with hesitation on his face.

"If you don't hold me, what will they tell us?" I questioned him to make him realize what I said.

He nodded before grabbing my hand. I f

Aarhea’s Point of ViewThe council room was filled with silence, every pair of eyes locked on me, on Roman, on Amara, on Logan, and finally on the trembling figure of Elder Marcellus.Roman stepped forward, his voice sharp.“Elders, we have uncovered the truth. Elder Marcellus has been plotting in secret. His goal? To place his son beside Alpha Aarhea as her mate, no matter the cost.”Gasps rippled through the room.I stared at Roman, my pulse racing. “That’s impossible! Elder Marcellus has served loyally for years!” I boldly informed them.Amara cut me off with a sly smile. “Alpha Aarhea, you’re kind. But even kindness can blind you. Look at the proof.”Logan laid down a bundle of letters on the long table. “These were found hidden in Elder Marcellus’ quarters. Plans, bribes, and orders. All pointing to him.”The elders bent forward, murmuring as they read.Marcellus shook his head wildly. “Lies! Forgeries! I would never betray the pack. Alpha Aarhea, you know me.”I looked at him

  • Never Again!   Chapter 41: Redirect!

Amara’s Point of ViewThe council room had been chaos when Aarhea spoke. Her words were sharp, and some of the elders looked like they believed her.My stomach twisted. I could feel everything slipping, the careful web we’d built starting to unravel.Later that night, we gathered in Dad's private study. Logan paced, restless, while Dad sat calmly at the desk, fingers tapping on the wood. I leaned against the wall, arms crossed, trying to control my panic.“She’s dangerous,” Logan muttered.“Aarhea’s not just talking anymore. She has references. She has proof. If we don’t cut this off....” Logan stopped talking when I spoke.“She’ll destroy everything,” I finished for him, my voice tight.“I saw the elders’ faces. Some of them are doubting now. If she pushes harder, they’ll start asking questions we can’t answer.” i continued.Roman finally looked up at us, his eyes cold. “Panicking won’t save us. We expected Aarhea to fight back. What matters now is how we redirect it.” he informed us

  • Never Again!   Chapter 40: Caught in their Mouth!

Aarhea’s Point of ViewThe council room was packed. Every elder, every guard, and half the pack sat in silence as Jake remained locked in the cell below. My chest was tight, but I forced myself to breathe slowly. If I was going to save him, I had to be careful.Logan and Amara entered first, their faces smug.Roman followed behind them, calm and unreadable, as if nothing could ever shake him.Elder Kieran spoke, his voice sharp, “We meet again to weigh the evidence against Jake. If anyone has more to present, speak now.”I raised my hand.“I do.”Every eye turned to me. I felt Logan’s smirk. Amara crossed her arms. Roman only leaned back, studying me.I stepped forward, “I have been asking questions. Listening. And something doesn’t add up.”Logan scoffed, “Of course it doesn’t. You don’t want to believe your mate is a traitor.”I kept my voice calm, “Then maybe you can explain better than me. Logan?” I looked him dead in the eyes.“You said the other day that Jake guided the rogues

  • Never Again!   Chapter 39: I'll be Ready!

Aarhea’s Point of ViewThe trial room was full. Council members lined the long table, their robes flowing like rivers of judgment. The pack filled the benches, whispering and staring at Jake, who was dragged in chains. He looked weak, but when our eyes met, I felt his strength. The High Elder struck his staff, “Bring forth the case against Jake!” he ordered. Amara stood gracefully, her voice smooth. “Jake betrayed the pack. We found the dagger, stained with blood, in his room. The evidence speaks louder than any denial.” she stated.Logan smirked beside her, arms crossed. Roman sat silent, his sharp gaze scanning the room.I stood slowly, my heart racing. “May I speak?”, I asked permission. The council allowed it.I walked forward, pulling the folded cloth from my sleeve. My hands shook, but I raised my voice. “That dagger was planted. And I can prove it.”The crowd stirred. Logan’s smirk faded just slightly. Amara’s eyes narrowed.I held up the fabric with silver embroidery.

Aarhea's Point of View:The next morning, I went to see Jake. The guards allowed me a few minutes. He looked worse, his hair messy, his skin pale, his wrists bruised from the chains. But when he saw me, his eyes softened.“Aarhea,” he whispered. “You shouldn’t be here.”“Don’t tell me where I should be,” I shot back, though my voice shook. “They’re trying to destroy you. They planted that dagger. I heard them laughing about it.”He closed his eyes, jaw tight, “I knew it. Amara, Logan, Roman, they won’t stop until the pack believes I’m the traitor.”“Then we fight,” I said. “We expose them.” I continued.Jake shook his head, “Be careful. They’ll go after you next.”I leaned closer, gripping the bars. “Let them. If I have to play the broken fool to trick them, I will. But I swear to you, Jake, I’ll prove your innocence.”His hand reached through the bars,

  • Never Again!   Chapter 37: They Enjoy It!

Aarhea’s Point of View The council room was packed when the gavel struck again. Sunset poured through the high windows, painting everything blood-red. The air was heavy, thick with judgment. Jake was dragged in once more and his wrists chained. His eyes found me. Just one look, and I swore my heart screamed louder than my thoughts. The High Councilor’s voice rang out inside the room. “We reconvene to hear the testimonies regarding the night of the rogue attack. Let truth guide us.” Logan stepped forward first, full of confidence. “I was stationed at the west gate,” he began. “I fought until the rogues fell back. But when I returned, Jake was gone. Missing.” he continued, which made me looked at him deadly. I tilted my head. He was desperate to make Jake disappear in the Pack! He looked at the council, then at me while smirking. “Missing, at the height of battle. What the future Alpha abandons his pack?” he questioned. Jake growled, “I was at the river bend, protectin
